Our solid wood caskets are NOT imported, but are hand-crafted in Seymour. We currently offer two different styles of wooden caskets, with custom sizes, various colors, and liners available.   PLAIN PINE BOX: Our plain pine box is a green-friendly casket that is acceptable for use by those of the Jewish belief as well as those who prefer to be kinder to the environment. It is constructed of solid pine with no screws or metal hardware of any kind. The plain pine box is unfinished- no stains or lacquers. It is NOT imported. Our plain pine caskets are constructed in the Amish community of Seymour, Missouri.   P2275, $425.00, FREE SHIPPING- The plain pine box may be purchased as is, no liner, with the option of wooden or rope handles, for $425.00, FREE SHIPPING.   ADD-ONS: A liner may be installed for an extra cost of $70.00. This includes a mattress, pillow, and the walls are lined. There is also a divider between the lids.   A Star of David wooden emblem or a wooden cross may be purchased for the outer lid of the casket for an extra $10.00.  It is not attached. It can be placed wherever you would like.   THE WHITMAN $995.00, FREE DELIVERY- This is a new style that we have started building. It is a wooden casket, and contains some metal hardware. Currently, the colors we have in stock are blue with silver chrome hardware, and white taffeta lining, and burgundy with silver chrome hardware, and white taffeta lining. The linings for the caskets are hand-sewn by local women in our community. Since these caskets are constructed from wood, they can be used for cremations and are also more environmentally friendly.   CUSTOM-BUILT- You may order custom colors for these caskets. We order all of our paint from Sherwin-Williams so that you can go to your local Sherwin-Williams and choose a color that you would like. We require payment in advance before construction is started.   Shipping:  The above prices reflect standard shipping which generally takes about three to four days. If you are in need of faster delivery, call us and we will make the necessary arrangements. If you would like to pick up at our warehouse, we will deduct $150 from the total price of the casket.
