The statue is in two pieces: a stand made of serpentine and the stone unicorn horn itself. The unicorn horn is held securely in the stand by a pin that fits into the base of the horn. Together the statue stands 10 1/4" tall. The stand is 4 1/4" long at the base and is 2" wide. The horn, alone, has a 1" diameter at the base and is 7 3/4" tall. The unicorn horn statue was carved by a local Sedona, Arizona lapidary artist. The ritual possibilities of this statue are infinite. A unicorn horn is an incredibly potent magickal symbol. Since this horn can be separated from the stand, it can be used alone. And with the stand, it makes a powerful altar piece.
