Tarot Of The Southwest Sacred Tribes by Violeta Monreal. This is a 78 card deck from 1996 with an accompanying little white booklet. This deck uses different motifs from Southwestern tribes to represent the four suits. The suit of swords uses motifs of Apache.The suit of wands corresponds to The Pueblo.The suit of cups reflects the art of the Rio Grande Pueblo.The suit of coins arises from the Navajo Nations. The cards and little white booklet are in excellent used condition. The box shows somw wear, especially on the top front where you must stick a finger/fingernail in to open the deck. Some shelf damage to bottom of card box also. This deck came to me this way. It hadn't been totally shuffled, but some cards were out of place. I have looked and have seen that this is a pretty hard deck to come by, especially with the cards in such excellent shape. *NOTE* My kitties and I on occasion like to burn incense when we are in our book/tarot/work-room. Kitties usually chooses one of the four scents: Patchouli, Cedar, Sage or Lemongrass. Kitties are also allowed to take naps when I am in that room with them.
