Turf Seams:  Lateral turf seams will be no closer than twelve (12) feet from  each other except where special design considerations dictate otherwise. Backing yarns:  The backing yarns will be high strength synthetic fiber yarns. The surface will provide a uniform playing surface having appropriate traction for athletic activities using a wide assortment of conventional athletic shoes.  The surface will resist wear and tear normal for the designed uses as well as degradation from microorganisms, insects, rot, mildew and fungus. The surface will permit appropriate drainage from a field with nominal grade slopes.
