This collection includes some of the major historical & biographical volumes published for Snyder County, as well as a number of obscure historical publications. The larger biographical volumes are an excellent place to start genealogical research as these detail hundreds of family genealogies from the county. The smaller, more obscure publications are an excellent addition to the larger volumes, as they contain information of a more specific focus. Often these smaller publications contain historical and genealogical gems found nowhere else - such as portraits, biographies, and records. (Please see the descriptions below for specifics on individual books.)This is a wonderful opportunity to own your own library on Snyder County. To find and purchase all of these publications would be a huge investment in time and money. Yet, here you can have all of this information to use at your convenience - and in a format that make research much easier. The work in collecting this information has already been done, and now you can take advantage of it!1) History and Topography of Northumberland, Huntingdon, Mifflin,Centre, Union, Columbia, Juniata and Clinton Counties, PA.I. D. Rupp, 1847, 567 pagesThe full title of the publication is: "History and Topography of Northumberland, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Centre, Union, Columbia, Juniata and Clinton Counties, PA. Following this attention is given to each of the counties mentioned in the title.
