I went to get the Bisquick and whip up some quick pancakes. But, I discovered I was out of Bisquick. I pleaded with the kids, "please, get some cereal." But they insisted pancakes... chocolate chip pancakes. I hit the web and got a recipe. And to my surprise I had all the ingredients, even the weird one. (I'll include the recipe with this auction.) I mixed everything in the right order and it made thick fluffy batter. I began to make them. I made enough for the kids and served them. There was a little batter left. The pan was still hot so I made one last pancake.It came out golden brown and looked particularly great. When I flipped it on the plate I was shocked. It looked like a Winking, Smiling Panda! There I stood, rain poring down outside, my car needing a tank of $4.09 gas, my mind filled with worries and a Cheerful Panda on my pancake. I had to laugh. This was certainly my sign! Finally, I got it.All my successful ventures had a positive sign at the beginning! My wife and I laugh about it but in all seriousness we know what happens if we don't get it. No sign, or a bad sign means a failed venture, a good sign means success! I am thrilled to get my sign. Now I am confident my venture will go well.
