CLEAR or BONE color sternum is available. Description: This model is a first quality unit - not a factory second, or an irregular, or a promotional grade or "fourth quality". It is new in the manufacturer's box and has never been used. The model is made of semi- hard poly/plastic material and is natural bone in color. It is a fully articulated functional model with movable lower jaw secured by springs. All joints are articulated allowing for the full movement within the natural range. The spine is rigid ( non flexible) - Flexible spine model may be available if in stock for additional 88.00 The skull, arms, and legs are detachable for individual study. The pelvis is alse dissectable into both halves and removable from the spine. The skull is 3 part. The calvarium and lower jaw (mandible) is removable as well as three individual teeth.The spinal column displays the spinal cord, cervical artery, nerve branches, and a herniated disc at the fourth lumbar. MEASUREMENTS: The skeleton is 5.4 feet from top of the head to the heel. When mounted on the rolling stand, the overall height is 5 feet 10 inches. The skeleton can also be hung from the heavy ring attached at the top of the skull (see detail photo) The Hands & Feet: are not solid cast, rather each individual bone of the foot & hand is individually cast indicating all the natural anatomical features. The individual bones are then articulated together with wire and springs for strength and form, allowing the bones to be manipulated for individual study. To clarify the quality, this skeleton model is not second or fourth class or irregular model. It has no manufacturing imperfections common to a 2nd or 4th quality Halloween model. It is a first quality teaching version, meaning it is suitable for demonstration, elementary & high school level education, legal representation, etc, but not necessarily for medical or university level use. It is also perfect for art study, anatomical drawing, & related purposes. The skeleton comes fully assembled. For packing & shipping purposes the removable legs are removed. You will simply attach them to the hip with thumb screws which are permanently fixed into the femoral heads. Otherwise it is a complete assembled. The shipping shell is a custom fit styrofoam housing which serves as a storage container when the skeleton requires transport or is otherwise not in use.  Bidding: You are bidding on one skeleton, shell & stand as pictured and described.
