Planchettes (talking boards) were used to spell out messages or to ask questions. They have been used since the beginning of the Spiritualism Movement of the mid 19th century and  pre-date the invention of spirit boards. Condition The planchette is in good condition with some minor marks. Length 19.2cm, width 16.7cm. Please email us should you have any questions.
