He was a well known warlock in the region named Rathius. I have heard of him before, and he did not like the idea of a rival arriving to his “kingdom”, and so, he decided to fight me, and prove that he is the strongest. I did not asked for this fight, but it was forced upon me, and so, I was not going to run. As a Georgian, I was taught to face my fears and enemies – never to turn my back on them.   I sensed him a few days later, and after a short time, I was standing in front of him. We where standing on a mountain top with a abyss between us – looking in our enemies eye – testing their strengths and weakness. He was a powerful man, I knew that this fight will be a dangerous one, and for once, I was not sure I had the upper hand.   The words sounded, the hands moved, and I was in a battle. And what a battle it was. He amazed me by one fact – he had only one jinn with him, but this was, with no doubt the most fearsome and powerful jinn I have ever seen. It was a royal Ifrit. Near him, my whole army of jinns seemed small, and unimportant. We fought together, and it took us hours. We where both exhausted, but at the end, with many wounds, and many friends I have lost, I knew that the battle was over, and that I am about to win.    He fled. I don’t usually judge people, but I was raised with the Spartanian way of life – “With the shield or on the shield” – Meaning, you don’t run away – you win or die trying. I hated him at that moment, and even worse, he left his wounded friend behind. I knew that this battle was not over, and that one of us will find the other, and for once, it was going to be me. No man who acts like this should be leading man, and be a master of jinns.   I took the ring that Rathius have left behind, bound with the jinn, and made a special bracelet to empower the bounding. I took care of him, and was proud to be a master of such a powerful genie – next to him, my jinns, even the most special ones felt as servants, yet he treated them well, and we all, to my surprise became friends. He was a noble, powerful jinn, and most specially, unlike most Ifrits, he became a close friend. I was on my way to find his previous master, and finish this, and I knew that my journey will be long and hard, but I had to do it in order to go on with my life.   This jinn has been with me for years, and have saved me, and helped me in many occasions.
