The picture was taken in about 1914, London, England.   This is an opportunity to get a really good head start on your family history research from the UK (England, Wales, Scotland & USA), quickly and at a fair price. You are paying for at least 5 hours research.   I am an experienced UK Family History researcher of several years and have done many successful searches for many clients. Sometimes with very little information to go on. I particularly specialise in UK Family History (England, Wales & Scotland), though I can research the USA too. So, if you have ancestors with UK roots, here is your opportunity to get a good start. My research will be online and will include searches in birth, marriage and death records. I will also search census records from 1901 back to 1841 in the UK (England, Scotland & Wales). If we are talking about the USA, I can go from 1930 back to 1790. I am able to research your ancestors history from the USA back to their roots in the UK. I can also research other records, from military records, parish records, to passenger lists on ships that came across from Europe to the USA if necessary.   Depending on how much information you can give me to go on and, of course, how much information is available in the online records, will depend how far I can get in this time. I was charging $9.99 for this service but found I was spending so many hours I had to charge a realistic price for the amount of work I was doing. I find that once I get started I cannot stop and end up on a crusade to find as much information as I can......   What you are paying me for is my experience and ability to look back and cross reference these online records to get a lot of information quickly and accurately. I will follow each family line as far and wide as I can go. If you are new to this it can often take many hours and a lot of expense to get this information. Yes, in a lot of cases you need to have the time, patience and the expense of taking out subscriptions, sometimes on several websites, to get the information you want. You need to learn how to do this and it can take quite a bit of effort. If you don't want to do this yourself, or you don't have the time, I can do it for you. I will email you any information that I obtain from this research. This includes digital copies of any records I find, including census records, etc. If you would like hard copies, sent by mail, I can arrange that too.   There are many tricks to doing this research and sometimes you find simple things can throw you off course into the wrong direction or, a spelling mistake can bring you to a dead end. There are spelling errors in these records as many people were illiterate. On rare occasions you do hit a complete dead end, but in most cases I can get you something. I guarantee that if I find nothing, I will refund you in full.   What I need is as much information as you can give me. Names, dates, places of birth, marriage and death are invaluable, if known. I will list below what I would like to have and other pieces of information that you may have that may help me in the research.   In many instances I am able to go back to the early 1800's and sometimes much earlier. It all depends on what records are available online and what information was recorded for your family. This can often depend on where they lived as some areas kept better records than others. In my own family tree I have managed to find nearly 5000 names and over 300 surnames connected. On two lines I have managed to go back to 1034 before the Doomsday Book. So you never know, you could get lucky and have a lot more than you expect to find.   At the very least I should be able to get you started with up to four generations into the 1800's. If you can get me back to 1900 or earler, I should be able to come up with quite a bit of information about your ancesters in the 1800's. This can include their names, years of birth, marriage, death, siblings, spouse, occupation, place of residence and neighbours.   I cannot guarantee finding all of these details, but I should be able to find most of them. I will give you ALL of what I get. If you want exact dates I will sometimes need to order certificates. These have to be ordered from the UK General Records Office. http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content and cost about $16.00 each plus postage. I am happy to do this for you, though we would need to negotiate this as a seperate transaction. In most instances I can at least give you the information you need to order these certificates online yourself.   So, why not give it a go? Maybe this basic information is all you want? Your ancesters names, ages, what they did as an occupation and where they lived. If you want more, then at least this will give you a great start at little expense and save you a lot of time. If you want me to research the whole family tree, including siblings, I can do this. Again that would need to be a seperate transaction. The cost would depend on how many lines you wanted me to research.   I am currently working on offering a service to get all of the information I find, or that you supply me, printed into a hardcover book.
